What is Njogera Français?

Njogera Français - I Speak French - Je Parle Français is a DELF schools competition that aims to motivate and inspire French teachers and French learning students/pupils, and strengthen Francophone ties with Ugandan Public and Private Schools/ Universities.

The French language is a worldwide language with more than 220 million speakers in all 5 continents and is currently the third official language in the East African Community. Speaking French opens opportunities to study at renowned universities and business schools ranked among the top higher education institutions in the world. Proficiency in French will open many doors to students in Uganda throughout their academic and professional careers.

The Njogera francais Competition is open to all undergraduate university students, high school students, primary pupils currently enrolled in a public, private and international schools or other recognized secondary education institution, including francophone students learning in Ugandan schools.

Alliance Française de Kampala (AFK) is the only language center in Uganda accredited to organize the DELF exams. DELF is the internationally recognized diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French speakers.
